Diego began his career at Mediaedge:cia in Ecuador in 2003, where he worked in the research department and trained in the area of Consumer Insights. He graduated from University a few months later, and with a degree in Marketing, decided to pursue his Masters Degree in Marketing & Communications.
Even while he continued his studies, Diego remained passionate about devising strategic media communications plans for clients. In 2004, he was instrumental in helping Mediaedge:cia roll out MEC Navigator - - the operating system by which MEC ensures breakthrough strategic communications plan development for its Clients around the globe. He was also named one of the agency's first "Navigator Pilots," a title granted to a network of employees around the world who are charged with ensuring employee's receive consistent training and development throughout our global network.
MEC gave Diego the opportunity to fulfill his goal of earning his Masters degree while growing his professional career. In 2005, Diego was promoted to Consumer Insights Director of MEC Ecuador, at the same time continuing his studies at the Tecnológico de Monterrey campus Quito.
In 2006, Diego takes on his newest challenge, assuming the role of Account Director at MEC's growing Latin America HQ located in Miami. Diego describes this move as the "the greatest challenge of his career" and is very excited about what the future holds for him as part of Mediaedge:cia.
