ST Ang joined Mediaedge:cia in Hong Kong in 1997 as Communications Planner, working on clients such as LV, Siemens and Business Week.

Within a year, ST was promoted to Media Manager before becoming Asia's first Creative Media Director, responsible for driving media creativity throughout Mediaedge:cia on accounts such as Virgin Atlantic, Tag Heuer and Hennessy.

In 2001 ST was appointed as the "Navigator Pilot" for the Hong Kong office when MEC Navigator was launched - the operating system by which MEC ensures breakthrough strategic communications plan development for its Clients around the globe. ST led one the agency's first Communications Planning and Implementation (CP&I) projects which launched the Smart Car in Hong Kong in 2002.

In March 2003, ST relocated to MEC Australia as Director of Strategic Planning for the Sydney office. His remit was to introduce MEC Navigator to the offices across Australia and New Zealand in order to drive strategic planning on key accounts and new business such as Canon and Novartis.

After three years living in Down Under, ST wanted to return to Asia. He transferred to the Mediaedge:cia China, Shanghai office in January 2006 as Managing Director where he leads the agency in what has been described as the most dynamic media communications market in the world.
