This was the week that the Nielsen Research company finally released their first set of comparable U.S. estimates showing video and TV usage across the "three screens" (also three platforms) - Television, Internet and Mobile devices. This report (the first of a quarterly series) is purported to be setting the stage for a greater understanding of where people are primarily satisfying their video entertainment needs from and how much of their respective time is being consumed. This week we take a look at this set of integrated data and summarize key quantitative findings. Moreover, a new recurring segment has been added to this weekly, Prime digital statistics, and replaces Marketplace.
